So i've had this mixer for 4 1/2 years. I love it. I love the black, I like that it's not a tilt-head, and that the bowl really locks into place ...it's perfect for anything we make. I typically do a lot of baking and it's been amazing. My husband got the meat grinder attachment and the sausage stuffer, so we've ground our own meat and made sausage with it. About 2 years ago I got the pasta roller attachments, and it does great!
The only time I can see not using this mixer is when I upgrade to a bigger KitchenAid mixer.
