Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of KitchenAid KFP350 5-Cup Little Ultra Power Food Processor, Empire RedCustomer Review: AWESOME processor....Highly Recommended Summary: 5 Stars
I love this little food processor! It does everything I need and does it well. Its fairly small...you can find a space for it in most cupboards or out of the way someplace but heavy for its size. Its well built. The cord is thick but short, very short. The color is nice, not bright red but a darker red. The work bowls are the only weak point. They make break or crack but I dont know that. Just plastic. The blades are sharp! I cut myself slightly putting the processor together. I am happy I bought this and would recommend it. Excellent Kitchenaid quality.
Description of KitchenAid KFP350 5-Cup Little Ultra Power Food Processor, Empire RedEquipped with 5-cup and 2-cup work bowls, this compact food processor is ideal for small households or for small jobs when a large unit isn't necessary. Each bowl has its own blade, and the smaller bowl is perfect for mincing herbs, chopping onions and tomatoes, and making bread crumbs. Also included is a reversible, stainless-steel disk with one side for shredding such foods as cheese and potatoes and the other for slicing carrots and cabbage. At 450 watts the unit is amply powered for the size of the work bowls. A large, uncomplicated feed tube simplifies adding ingredients. Cleanup is simple, too, requiring nothing more than a quick wipe of the power base and its touchpad controls, and all other parts are dishwasher-safe. The processor measures just 6-3/8 inches wide, 13-3/4 inches high, and 7-1/2 inches deep and weighs 10 pounds so it won't skitter on the counter during operation. KitchenAid says the first year of the processor's lifetime warranty against defects is "hassle-free," with a replacement shipped at no cost and without question if a defect is detected. --Fred Brack
