Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of KitchenAid Gourmet Reserved Hard Anodized 11-Inch Square GriddleCustomer Review: Best Griddle for Non Burnt Foods Summary: 5 Stars
I love this special hard-anodized griddle I purchased. Kitchenaid has always been my favorite brand. So far nothing has burned that I have made. My Pancakes are always evenly browned and look like the ones you get from a Bob Evans breakfast meal. I still can't figure out how foods cook so nicely on this griddle without having to add oil or butter! No sticking whatsoever! Foods cook like magic and flip over easily! I cook most foods on medium/high with this griddle because it heats so evenly and cooks perfectly at this temp. I did add some butter to pan before I cooked eggs but it was only for the buttery taste. It didn't ruin the pan. For those who aren't experienced cooks, please remember never to put a hot pan in cold water or it will warp!
I purchased this mostly due to it's safety and non stick features. I will never, ever, use teflon coated pans or griddles due to the dangers of ingesting toxins! I threw out all my aluminum pots and pans years ago due to health hazards!
I prefer this griddle to my well seasoned cast iron griddle.
I would recommend this Kitchenaid hard-anodized griddle highly if you want to eat healthier and safer.
