I received this set as a gift about 6 years ago and the well-used utensils are still in awesome shape. Even the can opener has held up well (and they usually don't last long!) I love that the utensils are silicone and don't melt, chip or break like cheaper plastic. Kitchenaid always makes great products - I highly recommend a set like this for every kitchen!
