These measuring spoons are made out of high impact resistant ABS plastic, able to withstand the abuse most kitchens can dish out. They all stay together on a ring, which can hang for convenience.Blessed with large, easy-to-read markings, the five measuring spoons in this set make any cook's work easier. They're permanently secured by a solid ring, are sturdily made of thick, red plastic, and are dishwasher-safe. The spoons accurately measure 1/4-teaspoon, 1/2-teaspoon, 1-teaspoon, 1/2-tablespoon, and 1-tablespoon amounts. Their handles are slightly curved, making it easier to obtain level measurements in the proper wrist position. KitchenAid says the first year of the spoons' lifetime warranty against defects is hassle-free; the company will ship a replacement at no cost and without question if a defect is detected. --Fred Brack
