This is a very nice grater set. I had a block grater with six sides and while it allowed finer grating, it was not of the same quality as this block grater. For example, this block grater has no sharp edges other than the grating orifices. The plastic container to hold the grated material is absolutely wonderful. The stick grater is nice because it has a little rubber foot to hold the grater in place while you use it. There is also a small material holder for the stick grater. With the holder, you can grate items that are too small for you to hold with your fingers. The holder slides onto the stick grater and then moves up and down it. Very nice. The rotary grater is nice because it disassembles with a small twist. Cleaning it is easy and yet it is so very sharp.
The only con to this kit is that the handle of the stick grater is plastic and it feels like if you were to squeeze it very hard, it might shatter in your hand. I tried it and it did not, but that is the feeling that you have.
This is a very nice, matched set of grating utensils.
