KitchenAid 5-Ply 18/10 Stainless Steel Clad Cookware combines the highest quality materials to deliver an exquisite line of stainless steel cookware that performs beautifully. The line combines gorgeous, highly polished stainless steel with the superior heat conductivity of an aluminum core. KitchenAid 5-Ply uses 18/10 stainless steel on both the exterior and interior. Heat-resistant, silicone handles provide a cool, confident grip. The cookware is oven safe. Handwash with mild dish soap.Holding 2 1/2 quarts, this stainless-steel double-boiler insert is ideal for making delicate sauces and for melting chocolate. The double boiler fits all 2 1/2-quart saucepans in KitchenAid's various cookware lines. It's made of heavy 18/10 stainless steel that is polished to a mirror finish. The finish resists scratching, denting, and warping, as well as corrosion and discoloring and will retain its luster through repeated use. Though it's dishwasher-safe, hand washing KitchenAid cookware will prevent surface dulling.
