Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of KitchenAid 13-Inch Cookie SheetCustomer Review: Absolutely Wonderful~ Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered this it bakes beautifully. I bought it because sometimes I don't want to make a huge batch of cookies (we tend to eat how many we make!) The cookies cooked more evenly than on any other pan I've owned (including my expensive calphalon insulated cookie sheets) and then simply slid off the open side of the pan. The pan does sit flat in the oven even though the top is slanted. I liked it so much that I have now bought the two larger sizes and given my old calphalon cookie sheets to my daughter. They work well, but I like these better.
Description of KitchenAid 13-Inch Cookie SheetLeave it to KitchenAid to come up with bakeware that has it all. It used to be that you had to sacrifice baking and functional qualities for non-stick properties. You couldn't use metal utensils, you couldn't put it in the dishwasher, and you couldn't trust it to give good performance for more than a couple of years. Those days are gone! This is heavy gauge bakeware with a non-stick coating KitchenAid touts as the most durable in the world. KitchenAid's durable, professional-level bakeware is for home bakers who take their treats seriously. This 13-inch cookie sheet will bake about 12 chocolate-chip cookies or biscuits at a time. Constructed of heavyweight carbon steel, the sheet distributes heat evenly, resists warping at high temperatures, and bakes cookies to perfection. Large rolled edges and oversized rims add extra durability and make the cookie sheet easy to lift out of the oven even when wearing bulky oven mitts. Baked goods slide right off the pan due to the SlideEase nonstick coating and the unique Slider design. This design puts a ramp at one end of the sheet so you can tilt the tray and slip your baked goods right onto a plate; otherwise, the bottom of the cookie sheet rests at the same height when the sheet is laid flat. KitchenAid bakeware is safe for use with metal utensils, but should be hand washed to preserve the nonstick coating. This cookie sheet is covered by a one-year hassle-free replacement and a lifetime warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde
